Ballycastle Rotary Charity Breakfast

As part of its customary programme of events, the Rotary Club of Ballycastle will be hosting a Charity Breakfast in aid of the Good Morning Ballycastle (GMB) Support Scheme.

However for 2016, the Moyle branch of Marie Curie will also benefit from the support generated.
Both causes are highly worthy of our efforts, providing vital services to individuals during times of great need.
Monies raised from the charity breakfast will, in GMB, help fund a vital outreach service, providing care and support to the elderly, vulnerable and incapacitated within the greater Moyle area.
Funding for Marie Curie, will assist with ensuring that the essential level of nursing care provided to end-of-life patients continues in the professional manner associated with the organisation.
Volunteers from both charities give selflessly of their time and expertise. So it is with this in mind that Rotary invites all members of the local community to, in return, give a little of their time (and money!)
Please join us on Saturday 30th April from 9am-12 noon in the Central Restaurant, Ballycastle.
Suggested donations of £10 per adult and £5 per child will ensure patrons enjoy a full breakfast expertly prepared using local produce and all under the watchful eye of Central proprietor, Gemma McHenry. Members of all three organisations will be on hand to ensure supporters are well catered for!
With an underlying ethos of charitable work, encapsulated by the motto ‘Service above self’, Rotary embraces men and women who share a common interest in helping others. Rotary clubs share a passion and commitment to assisting and improving communities both locally and across the world. Each member enjoys giving something back to those in need, as well as building business and social networking opportunities, learning new skills and having a huge amount of fun.
Ballycastle Rotary club looks forward to welcoming you on 30th April when you can see, first-hand, what being a Rotarian involves and all the time, savouring the most important meal of the day!
