Royal visit to Bushmills & Royal Portrush

President David had the honour of being invited to represent the club at Royal Portrush where he had lunch with the Queen and a number of other important people.

This was a fine ending to his year as president









The Royal visitors visited Portrush as part of their tour of the North Coast today. They visited Royal Portrush Golf Club for a reception and lunch hosted by Causeway Coast and Glens Council. The venue will of course host The Open in 2019, and preparations are well underway at the local course.

Club Assembly at the Brown Trout


Richard Orr welcomes William Cross, Assistant District Governor, Rotary Ireland to The Rotary Club of Ballymoney Annual Assembly.

This was the opportunity for Richard, who will be the next president of Ballymoney to outline the club plans for the year.  His focus for the year is to be relevant to the local community, to increase the profile and image of the club and increase membership.





Also present were 20 members of the club and 2 guests Jennifer White & Bruce from Kincardine, Ontario Jennifer is currently president of their rotary club

Rathlin Island trip

Over 20 members of Ballymoney Rotary returned to Rathlin Island this Saturday to visit the RSBP puffins, East Lighthouse, Mckegs pub for lunch and walk the island. The weather was a bit damp to start with but cleared up later in the day.  All had a great time an look forward to the next outing to a local farm in August

The Queen's 90th birthday celebration At Causeway Coast & Glens

David & Richard were invited to represent Ballymoney Rotary at the Queen's 90th birthday celebration hosted by the Mayor Michelle Knight-McQuillan. The purpose was to recognise significant contributions and achievements by the citizens of the Causeway Coast and Glens Borough who volunteer in various sectors of community life.
